FAB – ‘Friends of Andromeda Botanic’ Gardens charity has been created to promote, or assist in promoting, the conservation, maintenance and development of Andromeda Botanic Gardens, Barbados.

Andromeda Gardens was established by Iris Bannochie and her first husband, Dr Harry Bayley, around her holiday home in St Joseph in the 1950s. She bequeathed Andromeda Gardens to the Barbados National Trust in 1988.

The logo content was never in question as it represents the plant Heliconia stricta ‘Iris Bannochie’ named after Iris Bannochie, we did play around with fonts and the roundel. The bright green and coral red brand colours are picked from the plant and are juxtaposed by the use of a black and white hero image of its creator on the home page.
