Realised by a donation by Jonathan Milner (AbCam), the aim of the Milner Therapeutics Institute is to help understand how drugs work and to push forward new ideas and technologies to improve the development of novel therapies, with a focus on cancer.
The logo represents โsymbiosisโ, โsynergyโ โ bringing together researchers and the pharmaceutical industry. You can see the original logo and branding project here.
The Milner Therapeutics Symposium is now an annual event, starting in 2016 โ 2020 seeing it as a virtual conference, with sessions spaced over a month. We created a ‘delicious’ brochure until 2023, it having grown from six pages to 20+, but it was felt that in the interests of sustainability the content would be online only. The symposium document will continue to be published and regularly weighs in at around 90 pages. The website now reflects the Institute being in the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre and is managed fully in-house.
