We were introducedย to Widget by a Design Council / ย East of England programme called ‘Designing Demand’ that connectedย a selection of suitable creativeย teams toย small companies withย design projects. Judi and Angie won the project against three other creative teams and there met web developer Steve Henchley who was, and is the web developer for Widget, weย have continued to work with him on a number of projects.
Widget is a successful distributor of high-value consumer electronics. The company works with leading brands and retailers. It was gearing up for growth, and needed a website that reflected its energetic, proactive, value-added approach.
We (Angie & Judi) were asked by Widget to redesign their site, taking into account the two distinct client bases of their ‘vendors’ and their ‘customers’. This was then integrated with Widget’s e-commerce site to provide a distinctive corporate introduction to the business, providing information for both retail customers and product sellers. This project was delivered to budget within eight short weeks.ย
