Logo design for Cambridge start-up bioscience company Axol. They needed a logo and wanted a character ‘mascot’ too. Axol produce highly validated, human cells and critical reagents such as media and growth supplements. They don’t have anything to do with Axolotl research (that’s what the character is). Axolotls, however, do have amazing regeneration capabilities – a creature with such a unique capability seemed a great idea for the company name, and hence the Axol mascot is an Axolotl!
